PREMIER'S CONFERENCE.
FEDERAL CAPITAL SITE. CO-OPERATION IN BORROWING. • [PRESS ASSOCIATION.] (Received April 12, 12.37 a.m.) SYDNEY, April 12. The Premiere discussed the question of the Federal capital Bate. The general expression of opinion was that the delay and attendant expenses Tested with the ComonweaJth Government, which, it was claimed, could settle the matter when it chose. It was ultimately decided to take a course of action, which means awaiting developments. It was resolved that the States co-oper-ate in floating loans, so as to avoid competition with each other on the market, in older .to secure the best terms as regard interest and charges. It was decided to fix a uniform rate of brokerage for local loans. Decisions were come to in favor of promoting reciprocity amongst the savings banks and for a combined Australian, exhibition, in England, a travelling one being preferred.
