Schwann asked whether tiie result of the ' Aigeciras conference implied the virtual ißuppression of the clause in the AngloFrench treaty which restricted the economic equality of all Powens in Morocco for 30 years. Sir Edward Grey replied that the mutual engagement of Britain and France under the declaration, did not say that equality should cease after 30 years.
