Gladsome, going well within. heiseJf, did a •round in 2.35. Proceeding, in company with Boabdil and Tartan, she created a surprise by negotiating a mile and a haJf in 2.43J, amd " finished ithrete lengths in front of Boabdfl, who beat Tartan by two lengths. Maniapot© threw the Donoast&r distance behind in 1.46, and Machine Gun ran five furlongs in 1.3_.
