DO DAMAGE IN ASHBURTON.
[PBES3 ASSOCIATION.] ASHBURTON, January 23. A destructive thunderstorm passed over -the town this morning. Cereals, fruit, crops, flowers and vegetables berng ruui--ed by hailstones, which were up to 1£ inches in diameter.
