SELF DESTRUCTION.
AUCKLAND, November 6. A middle-aged man, named unknown, was found dead,, of a gunshot wound in the head, on the roadway at Howick. It is a supposed case of suicide. Later. The man found dead at Howick was Charles Thomson, 27 years of age. Papers in the pocket showed that he contemplated suicide. '
