A small heid on account of-^lr j Wright averaged -£7 7s &1. - " At the lato Mr Mahoney's sale on Tuesday, 29th ult. . the cows were in low condition and backward calvers. hence making lower values than otherwise would have done. Sundries and implements mad* full values — _-■=- At our Wanganui sale on the 6th inst. we had a full yarding. The demand for cattle was_betteY than of late; and we .disposed of the- bulk of them. A" good line of four-year-old bullocks made £6 ss. -Bidding for sheep was not so brisk,- but- we sold all yarding with the- exception of a line of wethers.
