Definition of a hack : A hack is a horse that has not won, at time of nomination, a race to the value of £80, or races to the collective value of £200. The winner of any fiat race after declaration of weights to carry a penalty of lOlbs; of two or more such races, 141bs; hones handicapped at 8.7 or over, half the above penalties. All entries to bo sealed and addressed to the Secretary, Manaia with name, age, color and pedigree of horse, name of owner, colors of the rider, and perform- , ances of the horse Entries by telegram must be confirmed in writing at the earliest opportunity. < All races to be run under the Rules of , Racing as adopted by the Racing Conference of New Zealand. < Owners are particularly reminded that all entries MUST be accompanied by cash, cheque, or P.O.
