The New Zealand championship meeting is attracting large entries, and Wellington players can depend upon-, an enjoy. -ible outing if they "go South."

The Canterbury championships are to be played at Ashburton after the big meeting at Dunedin.

The Hawke's Bay championships are to be held at Hastings on the 26th and 27th.

The Taranaki championships are to take place at New Plymouth on the sth, 6th, and 7th January. Entries closo on 29th December. Mr J. Paton has' been elected Hon. Secretary of the Taranaki Lawn Tannis Association.

The New Zealand Lawn Tenins Championship Meeting, which will be held this year at Dunedin, promises to be a great success. Mr G. N. Goldie, hon. secretary of the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association, states that amongst the competitors will be Mr Lycett, who is a Victorian champion double player. Mr H. A. Parker, the New Zealand champion, will also compete. Amongst the lady players will bo Miss Nunneley, the present champion, who is at present in very good form, Misses Gome, Powdrell and Van Staveren, of Wellington. Wellington is also sending a very strong contingent of*gentlemen players, and Hawke's Bay, Taranaki, and Auckland will be well represented. Altogether there will be a greater number of outside players taking part in the tournament than have taken part in such meetings for some years past.
