Reid, Federal Premier, describing nia opinions of prefer1 ence. While disagreeing with Mr Chamberlain, Mr Reid admits the grand obI jects in view. The Westminster Gazette says if Mr 1 Watson voices Australian opinion on "preference," it is idle to talk of any intelligible colonial offer.
