NORMANBY.
/ (From Our Own Correspondent.) The concert given by Miss Hughes, assisted by her pupils and friends, was held on Wednesday evening in the Town Hall. There was not a very large gathering, owing, no doubt, to/ the bad weather. The concert was in every way a success and the playing of Miss Hughes' young pupils was highly spoken of and reflects great credit on their teacher. The following also contributed items during the evening : Miss Olson, Miss Hughes, Miss Wonley, Mi* Phillips, and Messrs Kirkby, W. Hughes, Franks .(step dance), Seamark (cornet solos and a comio reading.) After the concert a dance was held at which a large nqmber were present, and a pleasant evening was spent.
