SPECIAL ORDER FOR MAKINC AND LEVYING A SPEOIAI RATE. "TTTHEREAS at a Special Meet VV ing of the Council held 01 Saturday, 20th August, 1904, : resolution to the following effect was passed, viz. : — That in pursuance and exercist of the powers vested in it ii that behalf by " The Loca Bodies Loans Act, 1901/ and the amendments thereof the Hawera County Counci hereby resolves as follows :— That for the purpose of providing the interest and other charge: on a loan of £ 1650 author ised to be raised by the Hawera County Counci! under the above-mentioned Act for re-building or building certain bridges in the Mangatoki Riding, the Hawera Cou nty Council hereby makes and levies a Special Rate of one-sixteenth of a penny in the the rateable value of all rateable, or hereafter to become rateable, property of the Mangatoki Riding of the Hawera County, and that such Special Rate shall be an annualrecurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the i^th day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 41 years, or until the loan is fully paid off, and that the interest to be paid is at the rate of 4% per annum. Notice is hereby given that the said resolution will be confirmed at a meeting of the Council to be held on Saturday, 15th October, 1904, at 11 a.m., and thereupon the Special Order shall take effect.
