HORRIBLE CARNAGE BEING ' SUFFERED. The Japanese captured 300 junks running the blockade at Port Arthur. The missing 'French attache, M. Cavirvell, has been discovered ill at Port Arthur. The Matins' St. Petersburg correspondent says that Admiral Stoossel reports that the fleet co-operating with Nogi is raining shells on the port and town. Tho carnage is horrible. The defenders, who had been fighting hitherto almost under cover, are now exposed to heavy fire at many points.
