MR McGOWAN'S DEATH.
O AMARU, September 29. Mr McGowan compUlned of pains in the chest in the morning, and did not go out with nil party during the day. On their return at half-past one, he was found to have become worse He began vomiting,, and expired almost immediately. Dorters were called in after death, which ■wm attributed to heart disease. Tho Txidy wu brought to Oamaru this morning, vtA nrffl be forwarded to Wellington to-d«y.
