ATTEMPT TO DESTROY WARSHIP.
NEW • YORK, September 28. Divert at Brooklyn discovered on the ways an obstruction intended to rend the bottom of the battleship Connecticut to be launohed to-day. The obstruction is subpeoted to be due to labor troubles in connection with the vessel's construction.
