. WESTPORT, January 11. Mrs Doncliffe, a widow, died of blood poisoning, the result of a <;ut on a finger with a fish bone. Thomas liaslam, a steerage passengar by the Mappnrika, disappeared from the forecastle into,,the river at 1.40 o'clock yesterday morning. He failed to seize the ropes and lifebuoy, thrown to him.
