PREFERENTIAL TRADE QUESTION.
THE TAED7F COMMISSION. (By Telegraph.— Copyrignt.) Received 7, 9.54 p.m. LONDON, January 7. George Flett, of Glasgow, an authority on- tramway construction and equipment, has joined the Tariff Commission. Mr Chamberlain, replying to a correspondent, said the aim of the Commission was to prepare a sketch of a tariff which would be submitted for the workers' approval, and cannot be carried without the wprkers' full support. A distinguished labour leader has been invited to join.
