Wallaroo, by which one of the boilers was blown up and 45 men 'killed: ' " •* ' The x news came- from the lighthousekeeper at the island, who reports that me Wallaroo' passed tms forenoon, en route for Sydney, going dead slow. The vessel is expected to/each Sydney on Friday morning, and it was asked that ambulances should be in readiness. • The Wallaroo left Sydney on December 27tb: for Jervis Bafo'<sn route for Hobart, to join the other iresaels o! the squadron. It is unlikely that any details of the catastropho will ty available until the arrival of the Wallaroo, in Sydney to-mbr-row.
