\ WANGAKUI, January 7. The Primitive Methodist Conference, which is being attended by 70 delegates, was opened 1 here to-day. The election of officers resulted: — President, Rev B. Drake; vice-president, Mr J. Bmbery/ secretaiy, Rev. R. Rains; stations committee, Revs. Drake, Clements, Ward, Mann, Nixon, flail, Clover, Dawson, Guy, Lyon, and Alessrs Embery, Roberts, Gold:e, Clark, Lile, Field, Dobbs, Linton and Woeks. Newtcn (Wellington) and Eden terrace (Auckland) 1 were made, into sepaiate stations! The conference sermon was preached to-night 'by the Rev. J; Sharp.
