Maaiaia (writes our con espondent) was «n fete yesterday on the occasion of the wedding of Mr Harry M. Quin to Miss Kellie (Jonnell, second daughter of Mr J. J.; Connell, and one of the -most popnlar - ladies in Manaia. The ceremony was performed in the Catholic Church. The Key. Father Power officiated, and the building was* tastefully decorated for the occasim and, crowded with relations and friends. The bride looked •■harming in a beautiful' trained dress of white brocade, elerly trimmed with silk lace, and wore orthodox orange blossoms. She was attended by her sisters, Misses Winnie and'Pattie, Miss Irene McKenna, niecs ot the 'bridegroom, Muses Mercy Dolan ' ttld '. Nellie Hail,' cousins of the bride, »»d 'Mils Leonah Cameron, .who were .'dressed in Persian 'muslin, with Valencia " I*oß and insertion, and wore picture hats. trimmed with ostrich tips and chiffon. Masters Tommy Connell and Owen Dolan acted at pages. Mrs Connell, mother of the >bride, was becomingly attired in a dress of, which the skirt was of black calk and the blouse of ' ornflower blue silk. ' The bride wa» given away by her father, while the- duties of groomsman were per formed by Mr Alf. Quin, brother of the bntagnom. , After the ceremony jan adjournment' wa& to tfce Manaia Hotel, where a sumptuous breakfast was laid, and done ■justice to bjr over fifty guests.
