MANY LIVES LOST.
Received June 8, 9 a.m. NEW YORK, June 7. A cloud burst at Spartanburg, Carolina. A dam w»s swept away, and the country flooded.
Cot: on pills were wrecked, and the damage is estimated at two million dollars.
Every building in Pancelo*, containing a thousand inhabitants, was wrecked. Many persons were drowned.
