Per Press Asßooiation, MASTERTON, January 12. t At the recent Caledonian meeting: , Dixom, off the 12yds mark, is credited with winning the 220 yds handicap in | 208ec. Various competitors considered the time impossible, and as a result ( the 220 yds course was officially measured, and found to be 23£ yds short. At the meeting of the A. and P. As- \ aociation on Saturday there was considerable discussion on the question of the erection of extra accommodation. A publican's booth is being recommended. One member objected to having any 'publican's booth at the . forthcoming show. It was eventually j decided to have an additional booth. The cash and trophy donations for f the forthcoming Masterton Show a- , ( mount to £490, an increase of £54 as compared with last year. ,
