THE MARITIME TROUBLE.
SYDNEY, December 12. The seamen met to-day, but nothing was allowed to transpire about their proceedings. It is reported that the men will issue an ultimatum to-morrow. Tnere is no change to report so far as the owners are concerned. MELBOURNE, December 12. There is a feeling here that the threatened strike of seamen wiJi ire averted. The seamen's delegates will report to a meeting of the Union on Monday
