FRENCH LABOUR TROUBLES.

THE MILITARY CALLED OUT. PARIS, December 13. The bakers of Marseilles have struck, including the army bakers. Owing to some gangs of labourers resuming 'work at the quays, the dockers interfered, and compelled the police to retreat, the Commissary of Police being wounded in the face during the struggle. The Gendarmerie then charged and dispersed the mob, arresting fifteen, who were armed with knives. The military occupy the thoroughfares leading to the docks, the free labourers being thus protected. A meeting" of 8000 "naval reservists and dockers censured the Government, and demanded the withdrawal of the troops, threatening violence in reply to the brutality of the police. The shipowners urge the Goyernment to punish the reservists, inasmuch as they are deserters.
