The only alteration in the Taranaki team was the inclusion of Pihama in tho forwards consequent on the defection of Thomas (Stratford). The weather was cold, with a strong breeze blowing. Considerable interest was manifested in the game, there being many visitors from North and South. Mr J. H. Laugbton, of Wellington, aoted as referee. FIRST SPELL.
