Napier, August 19. John Culsbaw was committed for trial for the alleged murder of John Hutcheson on the 9th mat.
Oamaru, August 19. In the Supreme Court to-day, before Judge Williams, Crawford, solicitor, sued Gardiner, farmer, at Papakaio, for £45 damages, being the profit at 6d per bushel alleged to have been lost through thb defendant being short in a big contract by 570 sacks of whest. The case is not concluded.
