At the fat stock sales 13,000 sheep were offeied, including about 6000 from New Zealand. The demand was not equal to the supply, and prices, especially for imported, declined considerably. New Zealand wethers ranged from 17a 3d to 203.
In cattle, 706 were offered, including 200 from New Zealand, whioh ranged : Bullocks Lls 14s 6d to Ll9 15s, cows Bold to Ll6 7s 6d. Values were generally lower.
