Sib,— ln your issue of the Stab of 14th nat. appears an aooount of the Eltham

Dairy Company's annual meeting. Permit me to correot the statement that

What I did say was, " That ill faotory hands who were required to Jo testing of milk should pass a Governneat examination, and hold certificates of competency, a resolution similar to [this being passed at our Luinual meeting twelve months K?o, and forwarded to the Minister of Agriculture." There are several other matters in which the report is not oorreot, but on them it is not neceßsary for me to dwell, beyond saying my remarks were made to the shareholders land endorsed by them), and were not taeant for publication. In conclusion, might I suggest that if this meeting was worthy of being reported, surely it was entitled to the B&rvioeß of a responsible reporter and a disinterested outsider, and not trust to ihe memery of a shareholder, although he is "A Correspondent," it being a rule in our Company that tho chairman has the right of re* 'view over all newspaper reports.
