THE AMERICAN VAUDEVILLE STARS.
To-night', in the Opera House, this clever organisation will appear for the first timo in the form of entertainment known as " Polite Vaudeville." There will be a sensational " turn " by Kelly and Ashby, the bounding billiardists. The act is said to be genuinely funny, original, and sensational. " Cunsing," America's magician and mind reader, is assisted by Warren, the Mormon wizard, in a series of sleight of hand tricks that are far removed from the ordinary. Morris and Wilson are a duo of grotesque acrobatic comedians. Miss Dorothy Roberts and her pocket piccaninnies appear in real American ooon turns. Irene Duval, the young speciality performer, has an attractive character and speciality act which is highly spoken of. Percy James is a society and drawing-room entertainer of merit, and Beryl Gilman 13 a young lyric artist. The company comes with an undoubted reputation.
