A MEAN PARLIAMENT.
Munich, August 14.
Recently the Chamber of Deputies of Bavaria refused to pass a vote of 100,000 marks for the purchase of certain pictures. The Kaiser thereupon wrote to King Leopold, of Bavaria, offering him money for the purpose, and at the same time expressing his displeasure at the Chamber's meanness. King Leopold replied, thanking the Kaiser, and stating that a member of the Bavarian Reicbrath had given the requisite sum.
