The meeting of the above Club was held at Waverley on Thursday, at 1 p.m. There were twenty members present, and Mr G. Bayly was voted to the chair. The minutes of previous meeting were read and confirmed, and report and balance-sheet adopted. Hearty votes of thanks were accorded to Messrs Nixon and Moffatt for assistance at the race meeting, and to the Wanganui Jockey Club and WaverleyWaitotara Racing Club for donations and support. The following officers were elected for the ensuing season : —President, Mr R. E. Mcßae (re-elected); vice presidents (Egmont district), Mr W. C. It was resolved that a voto of sympathy and condolence be forwarded Mr Mcßae and Mrs Honevfield upon their late bereavements. The question of 6xtuves was discuesed, and it was decided to leave the arranging of dates to the local committees, to be submitted to the Hon. Secretary.
