BOWLING. FEILDING V. HAWERA.
(SPECIAL TO STAR.) Wanganui, February 27. At Feilding, yesterday, the Hawen bowlers played one game in the mornin| and another in the afternoon. Tail's rink beat Thompson's by 23 ti 11, and Nicholas' beat Say well's by % to 14. In the afternoon, the tables wer turned, Tait's rink being beaten b; Scott's, 28 to 17, and Nicholas' beatei by 28 to 15. Counting games, honours were easj but counting points Hawera went dow: by the narrow margin of three points. To-day, the Wanganui match is bein played.
