AUSTRALIA AND REMOUNTS.
The Hon. H. Copeland, AgentGeneral for New South Wales, interviewed, said that, in order to insure against unsuitable remounts, the War Office ought to contract with Australian breeders for a reasonable period, instead of greatly neglecting that inexhaustible source. They were deolining strong Australian horses at twelve guineas when paying thirty.fi ve in Hungary and the Argentine.
