TERRIFYING CABBY.
Not long ago a Brooklyn cabby took Sir Henry Irving out for a drive without knowing who his fare was.
Sundry mutterlngs and moanings from inside the carriage startled the driver not a little, and he listened with strained attention, till he at last caught the words, "Hates any man the thing he would not kill?"
He immediately turned his horse, drove back with what speed he might, and reported his fare to the police as a dangerous lunatic.
