A FRENCHMAN'S SUICIDE.

A French gentleman, aged about 30. fashionably dressed, and wearing some valuable jewellery, arrived at the Royal Plotel, Dover, on Thursday, December 26, having, it is believed, crossed by the Calais boat. On Friday, the report of a firearm was heard from his room, and it was found that he had shot himself through the temple with a revolver, and was lying dead with the weapon clenched In his hand.
