MARINE ENQUIRY.
The Court of Inquiry into the wreck of the Prosperity found that the accident was due to the negligence of Captain Peterson in not ascrtaining the amount of error in his compasses, in view of the nature of bis cargo — machinery. Tbe Court recommended tbe suppression of his certificate for one month.
