OHRISTCHURCH WOOL SALES.

Chbistchobch, February 20. At the wool sales 7248 bales were offered, of which 6608 were sold. As compared with the January sales, ppod Btation merinos were about a half-penny lower; ordinary farmers' merinos £d to |d lower. Good bright parcels of half-bred maintained their price, and in some oases improved by Jd ; medium and inferior lota sold irregularly; orossbreds were in rather better demand, and ro3e from par to halfpenny; coarse and inferior lots about maintained January rates.
