THE FLOUR TRUST.
INDIGNATION IN CHRISTCHOBCH. Iprr mass association.) Christchuroh, February 18. Considerable dißgust is felt here at the action of the millers' trust in raising the price of flour to £8 per ton while celling it in Auckland at £6 10s. Offers have been received here from Australia to put flour on board at £1 to £7 2s 6d, and ife is understood that some is already on passage to New Zealand. With duty and freight this should land it at £8 10s to £8 12s 63, and as the freight is about the same from Australiamports to Wellington as from Lyttelton or bouthern ports to Wellington, even with the duty added there will not be much difference between the South Island and the Australian article.
