CHARGES AGAINST GAOL OFFICIALS.
(PBR PBBSS ASSOCIATION.) Wellington, February 18. Mr Jellicoe has written to the Miniatei of Justice, asking for inquiry by a Roya: Commissioner (he suggests Mr Justice Williams) into the discipline anc management of the Wellington prisons. He asserts that the Terrace and Hals well Prißons are over-crowded and are lacking in meanß for the proper clasßi fioation of prisoners, and also that the discipline iB faulty and the medical attendance insufficient.
