Wellington, February 18. Stevens, Assistant Inspector of Pose Offices, has been appointed Postmaster at the Thames, in succession to Coney, pensioned; Douglas (Westpbrt) appointed Assistant Inspector; King (Gore) goes to Westport; Dewar (North Dunedin) to Gore; Stanton (Greytown North) to North Dunedin; Roberta (Mercer) to Greytown; Mann, of Patea, to exchange postmastership3 with Renner, Waihi; Robert Shaw, Picton, takes charge of the new post office at Inglewood; Lecocq, now at Waipukurau, goes to Picton ; and Logan, of Wairoa, to Waipukurau.
