NEW SOUTH WALES REVENUE.
The State revenue for seven months, including j>1.333,000 returned from the Commonwealth, totalled £6,784,000, an increase of £824,000, as compared with the same period of last year. The Federal tariff contributed £434,000. This increase,- the Premier claims, was an actual increase in the earning power of the States. Tbe expenditure, including the Cemmonwealth proportion, was £6,968,000, a comparative increase of £600,000, of which railways and tramways absorbed £350,000, and old age pensions £226,000.
