Hawera February 8. At Manaia, on Wednesday, sth inst., all advertised stock came forward, but bidding was not good, and several lines were passed.
At Stratford, on Friday, 7th inst., the yardß were filled with cattle, mostly good stock of 18 months to 2 years of age. Fat cows, L 4 15s to L 5 7s 6d ; springers, L 4 15s to L 5 10s; cows, in milk, L 4 15s to L 5 ss; cows, with calves, L 3 15s to L 4 10s, in calf heifers, L 3 10s to L 4 5s • 20 month to 2 year steers, L 3 6s to L 3 14s • 18 month steers, L 2 13s to L 3 3s 6d; weaners, 15s to 30s.
