PALMERSTON RAM FAIR.

Palmerston North, February 6. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Limited, and the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company held their annual ram fair to-day. Between 800 and 900 rams were disposed of, the highest price being obtained for a Southdown bred by Mr Overton, of Canterbury, and bought by Mr Riddiford for 21 guineas. A good demand was shown for Romneys, Border Leicesters, and Down sheep. Lincolns will be sold to morrow.
