Auckland, February 7. • The police have been informed tbat that the man Fagan, who was supposed to have been stabbed, was gored by a bull previous to his disappearance.
Wblmnoton, February 6. The body of a newly-born male infant, wrapped in flannelette and placed in a pillow-slip, was found by some children to-day on the Thorndon Esplanade. The child had been dead for from five to ten days.
Wanoamdi, Febmary 6. A drowning accident occurred this afternoon, a lad named Maurice Fitzmaunce, aged 11, being the victim. He went for a bathe with some other lads, and got out of his depth. The body was recovered. * The boy's father is in England, and deceased with his mother and brother were to have left in a few days to join him.
