Wblmnoton, February 6. The body of a newly-born male infant, wrapped in flannelette and placed in a pillow-slip, was found by some children to-day on the Thorndon Esplanade. The child had been dead for from five to ten days.

Wanoamdi, Febmary 6. A drowning accident occurred this afternoon, a lad named Maurice Fitzmaunce, aged 11, being the victim. He went for a bathe with some other lads, and got out of his depth.
