COMPENSATION COURT.
(PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.)
Wellington, February 3. The Compensation Court gave an award to-day with respect to the claim of John Kirkcaldie and T. Toxward, trustees, whose land on Lambton Quay was taken by the Government as a site fcr the new Magistrate's Court. The amount claimed was £7500. The Court assessed the value at £4,808, half of which goes to either claimant.
