Sub-Inspector Wilson of the Police Department, is in town today.

Some little diversion was caused in camp on Wednesday night by the aotions ot four youths who thought they were clever enough to elude the guard, and gain admission to the camp at a late hour. However, they were soon detected, and promptly lodged in the guard-tent, where they made things lively for a while by singing, yelling, etc. After a time, they endeavoured to escape by pulling down the tent. This they did a seoond time, when one of them managed to effect his esoape, and the others gave the guarxTa considerable amount of ohaßing before being recaptured. This time they were put under look and key in the pavilion, the door of which they vainly attempted to foroe with a Bpade. This morning they were given twenty minuteß of "bucket brigade" (carrying water), and were severely lectured on their conduct by two of the officers, after which they were allowed to go, probably sadder and wiser for their experiences.
