SAVAGE SENT TO GAOL FOR
FOUR YEARS.

Auckland, January 30. In the Supreme Court, John Savage, who pleaded guilty to two charges of arson at Hawera on the 12th inst., was sentenced to four years on each charge, the sentences to be concurrent. The Judge said he would make inquiries as to prisoner's sanity.
