London, January 25. Lord Chief Justice Alverstone has provisionally fixed the hearing for a mandamus to compel the Primate to hear in open Court objections to Canon Gore's confirmation to the See of Worcester for February 3rd. Churohmen are satisfied at the prospect of a legal decision.
The Standard announced that, on the initiative of Canon Gore, his consecration has been postponed.
