(PBB PRESS ASBOGtATIOt«.) Chbistchcrch, January 23. A howling north-west wind, blowing from an early hour this morning, is causing considerable damage to gardens and trees along the Avon. Standing orops have been severely injured, and many fields of oats have been threshed out.
