NEW HEBRIDES.
Melbourne, January 24. In reference to M. Delcasse's (French Minister for Foreign Affairs) cabled statement in the French Chambers, the Bight Hon. E. Barton, Federal Premier, says it was not intended to make further representations about the New Hebrides to the Imperial Government at present. He recently received a cable that negotiations were proceeding between England and France on the matter.
