THE PLAGUE.

Sydney, January 20. Two more cases of plague are reported. They nro Mrs and Miss Gardiner, residing at Itushcutter'a Bay. A third suspicious case occurred next door. The cases are of a mild character. Dead rats were recently found in the vicinity. It transpires that a man died under suspicious circumstances in the same locality some days ago. The ense was investigated, but no report was made.
